Children & Youth

At Cedarville UMC, children are welcomed and celebrated. There are three children’s programs on Sunday mornings: CedarKidz, CedarTweenz and KidzWorship.

CedarKidz

is for children ages 4 through 2nd grade. Children are dismissed from the 9:30 Contemporary service at approximately 9:45 to attend CedarKidz. This program involves a time for sharing, praying, and learning about the Bible through stories, DVD’s, crafts, games, and fun activities. At 10:30, the children have a time of singing until 10:45 at which time they are dismissed to their parents.

CedarTweenz

is for children in 3rd-6th grades. Children are dismissed from the 9:30 Contemporary service at approximately 9:45 to attend CedarTweenz. This program delves more deeply into the Bible and the children participate in older activities. CedarTweenz join the the younger children at 10:30 for singing and are dismissed along with CedarKidz at 10:45.

KidzWorship

is for children attending Kindergarten through 6th grade and is offered during our 11:00 Traditional service.  Children are dismissed from the service at approximately 11:15 to attend KidzWorship.  This program leads the children to experience God through Bible stories, life lessons, prayer, crafts, and fun activities.  It concludes at noon, along with the traditional worship service.

VBS 2025

Join us on the VBS Road Trip for a journey of faith, friendship, and unforgettable memories!
 
Kids will set their GPS to biblical truth and embark on a journey of discovering that God’s presence is ALWAYS near. Using the most important navigation guide, the Bible, kids will learn how Biblical heroes followed God and how they can too.
 
Open to children going into Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children who refer another child will receive a special prize if they both attend!
 
5:30 – 6 PM Dinner for families
6:00 – 8 PM Sessions for kids with games, crafts, stories, science, and music.
